There are two types of parents in the world.
- Those who like to be crafty.
- And those who don’t.
I’m quite firmly entrenched in the second category. I bought my first glue gun last month. I’m 37.
Why did I make this iconic purchase?
Because my BLASTED sister introduced Isabella to the wonderful world of Creative Galaxy on Netflix and now my 5-year-old knows that things like googly eyes, acrylic paint, and pompoms exist.
I realize, being the open-minded person that I am, that many moms are creative crafters and love the challenge of DIY, especially around the Halloween season.
So since I wrote a blog post last week for those anti-crafters among us (32 Surprisingly Cheap Baby Halloween Costumes for Bargain-Hunting Mamas) I thought it only fair to do the same for my sewing, gluing, ironing friends.
I spent some time browsing and finding 23 homemade baby costumes that I thought were adorable, affordable, and absolutely the cutest things I’ve seen today.
Better warm up that glue gun! I’ve placed the citation under each photo, so you can click through and get instructions.
